I have 4 peafowl, 3 peahens and 1 peacock. I know that I definitely have a pair that are 2 yrs old and the other 2 I bought from a feed store as pea chicks last summer. I thought they were females.. One is a black shoulder the other a cameo. They have recently started displaying their feathers and doing the little dance... Are they really males???? Now I'm so confused!!

This is them...

Then how come the 2 younger are doing the peacock dance??

They copy each other and both genders will display at times from chick to adult. Usually chicks and hens display when theres a threat as it makes them seem bigger. Beautiful peas by the way and yes, I agree, 1ea rooster and 3ea outstanding hens,
