Fenbendazole--can this be used instead of Valbazen?

I use safeguard horse wormings paste at a pea sized dollop per large fowl. Directly in the mouth. Retreat in 7-10 days.

I am not the wormings expert, but I'm sure a few others may chime in as well. If nothing else use the search feature at the top of the page.

THanks. Good to know others do use Fenbendazole in their chickens. I just need to figure out the dosing. Not sure how many mg are in a pea size dollop. I'll be sure to retreat. Thank you.

Anyone else?

Is the sheep wormer a liquid? I do know from a bit of reading that the key ingredient is relatively safe if given too much, I can't provide the link for that info having replaced my phone and losing all of my bookmarked pages. Although overdosing is not recommended it is not lethal.

If no one can help you I do suggest using the search box at the top with key words of safeguard sheep wormer liquid.

That's the easiest form to work with

Safeguard 10% Suspension:
Dosage is 1cc for giants
3/4cc for large fowl,
1/2cc for standards
1/4cc for smaller birds.
Repeat in 10 days. There's a withdrawal period of 24 days start to finish.
