Fenbendazole Dosing Question

I just bought Safe-guard 10% Liquid 100 mg/ml (cattle and horse). The vet asked how many chicken I have and their avg. weight....I have 70 chickens, 3- 4 lbs (just a guess 40 are 7 month old Chantecler's, 6 bantams, the rest are regular size adult birds). The vet recommended a dosage of 30ml/day mixed in half their days feed, for 5 days (said he based it on 20mg/Kg) . And, if I was worried about it, a 10 egg withdrawal.

What do you think of that? I like the Safeguard Mash idea with zero egg withdrawals but its such a tiny amount compared to this dose. Other doses are twice as much. The more I read the more confused I get....is there anyway to sort this out?? I don't want to give to much or to little. I feel like I should just go with the vets dose and not worry about it, he wasn't worried haha...but couldn't help researching and now I don't know what to do.

How do you know your chickens will eat enough of the treated feed to be effective, or if they eat it at all? Will all of then ingest the proper amount?
It's best to worm your birds individually, orally. That way you know they go properly wormed. Here's a link for you to read:
