Fence-building help needed

! I was hoping this was something we could just toss up in an afternoon. No wonder my husband has been ignoring my repeated hints to do this job!

Yep, that works too. A trick I learned when pulling from a position down low is that the fencing will be pulled (obviously) in that direction. You can take a 2x4 or such lumber and brace it vertically under the pull rope. The tention of the rope should keep it from falling out, though you may want someone to just stand there and hold it. By elevating the pull rope back up to level, you pull the fencing level and it's easier to attach to the posts.

Also be sure to brace the corner posts so they won't pull out during this process. A diagonal from the upper portion of the post tied to the railroad ties, then attached with long screws or nails.
