Fencing for duck run

I used lattice to cover the top of my pen(a former dog run) and then put chicken wire over top now keep in mind this is NOT for night time it's just daytime for the pullets, i also have chicken wire about 2-3ft up the sides and up the back area where i have a small wooden box that gives them shelter in bad weather but they of coarse love to sit on top of it lol

My ducks have been housed in this pen in the past, daytime only again with ducklings since i wanted them separate from the rest of the flock while they were small.

I have Muscovies. They cannot fly as we keep their wings clipped, but they climb wire mesh and chicken wire with ease. I've seen the big drake climb a tall stump as easily as a woodpecker climbs a tree. I'm going to try pallet fencing to see if that will stop them, with the laths run vertically, of course. They are locked in the barn at night,to keep them from predation by raccoons, cats and other vermin, but I want them to be free range in the garden during the day. Anyone out there have Muscovies, and how do you fence these tree ducks in?
