I posted on a local FB board, too. He's doing great. I saw him today and it was really busy at the lake. After it started getting busy, he went and hid.

Hi everyone. I just went over to the lake and Bitey was gone. I called all over for him and didn't see or hear him anywhere. There was no sign of animal predation near his area and I suspect someone took him. I'm hoping it was someone who gave him a loving home and is being kind to him. I saw him last Sunday and he was fine, but getting thin. I don't like that I don't know what happened to him, though. I know there are a few people who look after the domestic animals there, so I'm hoping one of those people came to his rescue. Please think good thoughts for Bitey.

Thanks for all your support. If I find another human-imprinted duck dumped there that needs a home, I will make a new thread.
