If I'm feeder fermented feed to my Cornish X hens do they still need probiotics in their water? I'm also brooding layers so I make a big batch of probiotic laced water to use for both the layers and the meat birds. Can they get too much good bacteria from both the fermented feed and the water?

No, the fermented feed produces it's own probiotics. The excess is not necessary. Feed FF to both CX and brooding layers. Good luck to you.
