Fermented Feed Feeding Quantity

Those of you feeding fermented feed to your chooks- do you measure how much you feed dry or wet? Ive been calculating approximately 1/2 cup fermented per bird (plus i throw in some extra). I feed most of it in the morming. Its gone in 20 mins. They forage at least a few hours a day and then i feed the rest of the fermented feed in the afternoon. They gobble that right up. And they always seem hungry. One person told me she measures dry and that may be why. That didnt quite make sense to me. Ive been feeding fermented feed from the start. They are 17-22 weeks and seem healthy. Would appreciate the feedback. Gracias!

I let my chickens forage throughout the day and feed FF in the evening. They can stuff themselves before bed, and if there is any left in the morning they can finish it.

Maybe offer some dry feed as well during the day or in the late afternoon, after offering the 2nd FF meal? That way you ensure that any bird that still wants more to eat can do so.
