fermented feed freezing

How do you keep it from freezing when you put it outside? I made a small batch for my chicks inside and haven't put any outside yet. I would think it would freeze if they didn't eat it fast enough. it in the 20s outside, the girls have heat lamps high up but the floor is freezing in the coop.

They'll eat it quite fast, they love that stuff! And even if it freezes, they can still eat it.

I put the fermented feed out in the cold and it is always gone by the end of the day. Frozen or not , it is still being eaten.
