Fermented feed in horizontal PVC pipe feeder?

My meatie babies are arriving next week so I've got a bit of time to figure this out. It's just a simple question, though: If I pour fermented feed down a horizontal PVC pipe feeder will it spread across the width of the feeder? My feeder would be in a "U" shape, like this: |_o___o___o___o___o_| a couple of feet long. I'm wondering if the consistency of the feed would prevent it from spreading. (I haven't made fermented feed yet, so I'm not familiar with the texture.)
Thanks!

IMO if the feed is moist at all, it won't work. It will stick inside the pipe and eventually mold which could be deadly. I think any moist/wet feed needs to be in an open container that the chickens can reach all parts.

Thanks, ChickenCanoe. I thought that was probably the case but it was worth asking...
