Fermented Feed Mystery

I’ve been fermenting my chickens’ feed. I started a new batch 2 days ago, and today it has some kind of weird-looking fungusy stuff on the top. Has anyone had this, and what is it? I don’t want to feed it to my birds if it’s something nasty.

that looks like kahm yeast (and gas bubbles as you said); you might find this site useful https://preserveandpickle.com/kahm-yeast/
most people just stir it in btw; it won't harm your birds;
and on fermenting chicken feed, if you haven't already found it, this is quite good
