Those who feed their chickens fermented feed, do you feed them one time in the morning? Do you feed them twice a day? Do you leave dry food out for them to eat throughout the day? My chickens have been eating all of their food in the morning and seem to be pestering me for more food as the day goes on. I don’t want them to be hungry but I also don’t want them to eat too much.

If they are getting plenty of exercise they should be able to eat free choice.
I put out a large bowl of fermented and a trough of dry. They eat both throughout the day but the fermented is always gone by roost time and some dry is still in the trough.

I offer fermented in morning, and free choice dry feed through the day.

Chickens are pretty good at moderating what they eat, so unless you have a specific reason why you're restricting their diet, they should have access to food throughout the day/at intervals throughout the day.
