Fermented feed

I feed my girls fermented feed 2x a day. Morning and evening. They seem to be doing well with it. My question is with my 5.5 week olds. I give them some fermented feed both morning and evening when I give it to the oder girls but I also have dry feed available all day. When can I take away the dry feed and just give fermented 2x a day?

Oh good. They make such a mess with their crumble and I feel like they waste so much. Maybe I'll start them out of fermented feed 3x a day and do down slowly?

If they are wasting dry feed you have a 'biller', one that bills (scoops) out the feed on the floor. Try a different feeder that stops that. The PVC works so much better on the one biller I had
