Theres a thread on here that is crazy long and it answers most questions youll have. Ill do my best to answer or help I just started fermenting feed two weeks ago but yes you can do it and its not hard at all..

It's your normal feed you have now fermented for two plus days or untill it's done and your done "feed it" i always have feed dry feed and introduced it to adults and younger birds they love it.

I know vinegar eats metal what do you feed it in? How much do you feed and how often. Right now my girls have a free feed system.

I have both metal and the plastic feeders I just stopped using the metal ones and I use the plastic ones and rubber food dishes you get at feed stores.

You could use old tupperware bowls or cut the bottom off a five gallon bucket..My birds have free choice feed as well I just go fill what I think theyll eat during the day each morning and go out again at night mix around any thats left and add more to top them off but once you start itll take a few days to know how much theyll go thru
