FERMENTED FEEDS...anyone using them?

Pics
Thank you! I love that pic too and more for the meaning of it than the beauty...the beauty of it goes so much deeper than what we can see, doesn't it?

I'm glad you found good info here and I think you will really love what you see after using the FF. Please get back to us if you see any changes, good or bad, after starting the feed and we always love before and after pics..especially when they show a dramatic change. Love those!

I will be getting 40-50 chicks in the next few weeks and plan on starting with FF from the get-go. I will take pics of them when they first arrive and then pics as they progress. I am getting JGs and NNs (was only going to get JGs, but my husband was upset because he had his heart set on NNs, so due to chicken math, we are receiving both). I am anxious to see how FF will help with growth in these heavy breeds without breaking the bank!
Yes, the meaning of the picture is far more beautiful than just being pleasing to the eye. So many wonderful things are able to take place when you have the Lord in your life.

Never truer words were spoken! It gives one such peace and a feeling of power that there is nothing on this Earth to fear...nothing at all. When you have that, you can live your life to the fullest without stress, worry or anything that takes your focus off of truth. I can't imagine living my life in any other way now! Peace that passes all understanding and joy unspeakable, full of glory!

Bee, I have a question. If I am feeding soaked alfalfa (mainly because of the heat, to keep the birds hydrated, its been over 100 most of the summer) can I add the alfalfa cubes to the FF and allow them to ferment too? I would imagine the answer is yes, but just thought I would ask anyway.

Others are doing it and reporting no problems. They contain 15% crude protein, so are a good source and are just about the same as my layer ration. Let us know how it goes?

so the shell came off the 3rd chick and I took her out of the bator and realized she is WHITE! I have never seen a white fuzzy chick, is this common? but all 3 are running around like crazy! big mouths never stop peeping!

I got my leghorns when they were 2 days old and they were yellow! this chick is just a special baby I was blessed with!! I know its not albino as he does have small black spots on his wings.
