NOT my fave food, so I feed it to the dogs and chickens where it can do the most good.

I've been feeding fermented feed to my new chicks since the day I got them. They seem to like it. But it does get all over their faces, it's kind of funny to watch them wipe their face on their paper towel bedding. They're going to have a problem when I change it to Pine shavings.
Should I add more water to it to make it more runny, or are they just going to get it on their face no matter what I do?

Boiling will kill most pathogens.I ask this question earlier didn't get a response so thought I would try one more time. If you boil regular tap water on the stove will it remove the undesired chemicals?
