i learned to feed fermented feed from my grandfather and dad. as we did not have computers back in the day it was just simple things the old folks passed downto the younger ones. i feed fermented feed but only in warm months to my fowl. i mix all my own grain which is whole oats, whole corn, and wheat which i think is as good as anything. now you can add what ever else you like as for me i protein spike it with calfmana and it works great for me. as for fermentation you will know when it bubbles as you take out replace with new feed will work for a while. from time to time you ad a little water to the mix. this is how we fed our hogs also. now i know people have differant ways but this is a simple way and it works.
