I have been getting into fermenting some of my chicken feed and would love to hear y’all’s opinions on it and if you do it or not!

I've done it in the past, I don't care it it should happen in the future when I store buckets of wet mash, premeasured, for my wife to feed the animals while I travel. I don't find the benefits worth the effort.

I fed only FF (fermented feed).. Purina flock raiser plus free range for a flock of 82 for 2 years straight.. I saw zero benefit regarding savings or health over my baseline.

I wasted a whole bunch of time, and had some fun.. even tried doing it for my dogs, not recommended. :sick

The birds seem to like it well enough once adjusted.. I consider it *possibly* good enrichment for both the chickens and myself.. but negligable nutrition or budget benefit.
