Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

You are a cherished friend for placing a mirror in front of my face and I will try to do better on how I communicate and on expressing my opinions. Thank you so very much!!

Proverbs 27:6 "Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses." NIV

[Faithful are the wounds of a friend ; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful ." KJV]

Because if a friend hurts you, it is usually out of love and not out of malice. Some of the most hurtful things I've had to digest were from friends who were only telling me the truth so that I could change for the better.

Enemies, on the other hand, may show you a false and bland kindness to your face and stab you in your back. By this difference, you can know who your friends truly are.

I picked up some orange storage tubs on clearance yesterday to use. I only have 20 ducks and some young chicks right now, is it OK to mix up a weeks worth at a time? I am keeping it in the garage, so not warm, but not freezing either.

I add DE every now and then, I bought a 50 lb bag for $50 and give it to my horses, dogs and myself periodically.

Okay so my feed turned out WAY to watery. It was much less of a paste or mush, and more of a soup. My top bucket is not draining like it should. Maybe the holes are too small? But it looks like if I make them too much bigger the feed itself will go through it.
