Ohh I agree! No bugs under the bed. Just hearing them would be bad enough! If one happen to get in my bed I would no doubt need my ceiling repaired! LOL

My daughter begged me and begged me for a snake when she was a teenager. I told her no no no no I don't know how many times. She was like Momma but it'll be in an aquarium and I said yeah loads of people have them in their aquarium and they escape from the thing and I'm not living in the house with NO SNAKE! NOPE NOPE NOPE

I wouldn't be able to sleep with one in my house. lol

Do y'all have big plans for the holiday weekend? I don't. lol My boyfriend suggested buying food and just sitting in the house and eating. No grilling-too too hot! I believe I may make some ice cream. I wonder.... have any of you ever used coconut milk to make ice cream? He doesn't do milk, makes him feel sick.

I use almond milk unsweetened and heavy whipping cream but if he can't do milk he might not be able to do the heavy whipping cream either.

Probably not. He says back in the day of fresh milk (before all of the processing) milk didn't bother him at all. But store bought milk makes him sick at his stomach.

Can you guys help me out please. I have a girl that keeps getting FF on her nostrils then proceeds to rub it off in either ash or dirt. By time I can catch her it has dried every time. Now it sounds like she has something partly clogging her nostrils. I tried to clean it the best I could, is there any way to clean out what I can't reach or should I just wait until it works its way out? BTW she is not sick and her lungs sound clear. The noise is in the nostrils only and is a direct result of the above.

There is a product on the grocery shelves called Acidophilus Milk. This, for all intents and purposes, is well received by those who are lactose intolerant.

Thanks for the info. I bought a little container of meal worms at a local bait shop a month or so ago. They were about $4.50 for a dozen or two worms! Good golly! I think if I was going to sell them at a bait shop I would just grow my own, worms and crickets too. Hmmm... maybe I could sell him some. lol

They are much cheaper online. I got 1000 for $13 on amazon.

Hi RoseMarie. Yes I did read some threads about it on BYC. I did read the one about the three drawer setup. I agree, it does sound pretty neat. But then I read some about it being done all in one container. One thing I'd like to know is do those dang beetles ever escape? I am not very fond of bugs, especially in the house. That's one thing I like about chickens, they eat bugs! I do believe meal worms would be a garage project. lol

The beetles don't fly and I haven't had any escape! the lid on my container keeps them in and they have so much food available I don't think they have any reason to look to escape.
