Fermenting Feed for Meat Birds

I heard about it on Fox News. They went on and on about it. Of course, they blamed it on the liberals.

Fox News are proven liars. There is no law whatsoever in this country that says any body on TV has to tell the truth. Not even the 'news reporters"

I used that stuff on my own flock's legs for scale mites and it was still in evidence a few months later when I examined them...could still feel the suppleness of the oil on their scales. In the case of your roo, the more you massage that area, the more circulation is going to be encouraged, so it wouldn't hurt at all to repeat the CO when you massage his comb if for nothing more than to give you some glide when you massage.

Thanks, Bee. I'll get on him tomorrow with another dose of CO and a little massage of the ole comb. Thank you for your help on this ... You're one in a million, Bee and I'm blessed to know such a wonderful person :hugs

Deb,

I add a couple of tablespoons of sea salt to my horses pelleted feed. I don't supplement with anything else and have a white salt block in the feed manger at all times of year. Our heat in the summer is extreme humidity and very high colic risk. My horse tends towards non sweating too. The sea salt has helped
I keep salt 24/7 as well my mare used to go through a 50 lb block in two months. Boarding facility boredom relief the vet said..... I started using those Himalayan salt licks a 4.5 pounder lasts the same amount of time.

Surprisingly down close to sea level at 90 degree temps shed go through a boat load of salt and her coat was always coated with dried salt from sweating. Up at the house at 3000 feet I Never see salt on her coat. shes got more room up there so that may be a difference but I have never seen tell tail signs like around her ears or above her eyes.

BTW I ONLY feed Bermuda nothing else.
