I know of people who have said they give whole fish to their chickens. I would guess they pick the bones clean like they do with turkey carcasses

Here's a pic of my ff when I filled the bucket too full. Mine looks like thick oatmeal. Hope that helps.

I've never seen such filthy chicks in my life! They all look like they've been having a mud spa day.
