Took my camera over there and they stopped for a few minutes and then started back. Man I WISH I just had HALF their energy. I'm thinking about eating me some ff. :gig :th

Thanx Bee...... :D

Oh yeah running out of space quick! I do plan on putting them in a much larger space on the carport. Hubby took my light apart to keep the cats warm when it got really cold a few weeks back. He took the clamp off it and I need to get the clamp put back on there when he can figure out WHAT he did with it. Sure hope he didn't toss it. Anyway I wanted to put it on and see how warm it gets in there at night time so I can see IF they will stay warm enough.

Hi Lisa, I get busy and don't get to the internet for awhile and then have to catch up. I sold two of my layers today for $60. I felt guilty, sorta like a traitor somehow. I raised them from chicks and they are very tame but one was a Maran that did not lay dark brown eggs and was a real pig, food wise, though a daily layer. The other was a Russian Orloff that was really mean to all the younger chickens, even to chasing them away. So I'll have less eggs for a while. I've got 16 new babies from my last hatch, all cute crosses. I'm saving eggs from my new roosters that are Anacona crosses. So I will have some rumpless wonders from those. They will be so cute. I'll just have to learn how to put pictures up on here! : )

Hi Bee, As Wendy says, "Howyadoin'?" I was a nurse too and did eldercare for almost 35 years and yes we do get knee deep in s*** sometimes and after years we do get immune to it don't we? What's a little poo, anyway? Funny how ever since being into chickens, I see everything in a new light. How it can be converted into something that I can use for the chickens, be it for feeding or for shade or to be part of a coop, whatever. I have lots of wood. I'm going to make some of your little troughs. I think they are cool! Love you! : )

Thanks for sharing your babies with us Rosemarie! I can't get enough of babies! Your video is precious.

Rose, the crumbles actually hold their grainy form better than the pellets, but that is really more because the pellets become tiny and grainy to the same amount. If you get improperly milled crumbles or sift through them carefully you will find some half milled pellets. :p The crumbles are just milled and sifted pellets! At least that is my experience fermenting Layena vs Flock raiser. Grainy mush either way.

RoseMarie, they are so sweet. A real handful. This is the third time I've watched one of your videos and I keep getting side tracked. This time it was about cooking cornish game hens. About 10 different videos.
