fermenting feed in winter

It’s a great thread... all 8900 posts of it, with links to lots of helpful sites. The more recent activity on it wasn’t really addressing basics and temperature and there’s a lot of reading to do there. Slowly working my way through it though!
 
This is what my feed looked like this morning before feeding... haven’t fed the fermented yet as there is a “lot” of blood on the heater for my 2 week olds rushing down to check them myself... last night there was a small bit of blood in someone’s droppings as I moved them to a bigger brooder, I checked everyone’s vents and their little bodies as well, no sign as to which one might have produced it... really hoping it’s not due to the “fermented maybe feed”

Looks fine just stir it in good, also you don't need that much water in there to ferment it. Here is a picture of mine when stirred, my chickens like it thick. If I don't stir it once a day, it will get the white film over it.
