My chicks are 6 weeks now and I have been fermenting their Scratch and Peck to eliminate waste for the past few days. They seem to have a bit softer poop ( sorry ) will that change as they get used to it? Also the amount I'm not sure of either. I have 5 chicks. I make sure their crop is full but midday they look at me like they are starving which I know could be a ploy lol. Any help would be great since I am still new on this adventure.
