Fermenting Rice? How to?

Tanks for the info! i just put a bag of rice into my ff, i'll try to use it in a couple of days like u say

I've also tried the 24 fermentation. But I wonder if it makes a difference if you ferment it in a dark place or light or without/with a lid on...would different types of bacteria grow??
 
Why do you want to do this?
Do you know nothing about the benefits of fermenting grains for your flock? I would resist using a poultry based avatar as your representative on this forum. Or any for that matter. I'd phrase your question differently if you are truly curious why one would ponder these queries. In layman's terms, dont be an Ahole if you dont know wtf your talking about.....devora??😬

Lid prevents mold. Just stir frequently. Sunlight permits algae, mold, and flies. Let breathe, dark place, warm, stir daily. 3 days, use. Day1 bucket goes into day 2 bucket. Day 2 into day 3. Fill day 1 again. Unchlorinated water. Now next days revolutions, use day 3 buckets drainage for day 1 buckets refill. Like a starter yeast.
