I butchered my rooster over 4 weeks ago, but I just cracked open a couple eggs(laid this morning) and they were fertile...

I do have some bantam roosters that are out with my girls, but they're only 3 months old(12 weeks and a couple days). Most of them are already crowing. Is it possible that they are already knocking up my girls or is it more likely that they're still fertile from the rooster I butchered?

hatch em and see ! i have heard 2 weeks for sure but could be longer. for a real good fertility rate not to wait longer then 2 weeks. if your little bantam are crowing it could be but i doubt it. i had one so small it would get on the ladder and wait for a hen to come by and jump. lol

Those are 2 eggs I just collected today. They have the white spot that eggs have when they're fertile.
