Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I would hire it done at this stage of the game! But finances dictate that I do it! Shouldn`t be too bad I have a friend who has a Bobcat skid steer I can use. That will make short work out of pulling it! Last time was with the schools ford 4000 with a front end loader, worked well! I think the last time I pulled it to replace was at least 20 years ago! 🙂 Good deal you got your outside work done before more heat! Finally cooled off here 57 degrees at 5:00 am!
What size pipe do you have plumbed into the well? I use 1 1/4 inch, mainly because that's what was there when I bought the place. But I follow a well driller on YouTube and he uses strictly one inch, big rolls of it. Looks much simpler.

1 1/4 galvanized, it is a shallow well jet pump. I think the problem with it is water is bleeding past the check valve ( a new one ) over night when there isn`t any use. I`m pretty sure a bit of rusty scale gets lodged between the check valve and the valve seat only happens occasionally. I get up in the morning no pressure and pump is running. Prime it and good to go! But since it is at least 20 years old I am putting everything in brand new, pump, bladder and all piping, valves ect. If it lasts another 20 years I won`t be around to find out! Lol 🙂

Well, got the mowing done, all except one area under some trees. It still looked good. It took about an hour and a half. Not bad. Sun was just setting as I finished up.
