They might, but you can't count on it. If you really want ducklings, I would recommend incubating them yourself.

X 2 Given the time of year and the impression that you want purebred ducklings , I would recommend using an incubator.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the drake messing with eggs. Mine always just ignore them.

x2 I've never seen a drake look twice at an egg.

A really great book about ducks is Storey's Guide to Raising Ducks. It has a lot of good info in it and I think you'd find it very helpful. I've had ducks for a long time and I still occasionally refer to it.
