Hey all,
I have a very brood hen and a small flock that lays three eggs a day. If the eggs are fertilized, how long do they remain viable until they have to go under the broody hen?

Can I put 3 under the broody hen one day and add three more the next?

They stay viable for up to two weeks, and after that it's unlikely that they will hatch. After one week you have to turn them to keep them viable.

I would add them all the same day. It's better to have them all hatch the same day. :) Just hold back three until you get three more.

So the total newbie follow up question, how to keep them while I'm wait for more than three?
I just keep mine at room temperature if it's only a day being held. Never had problems doing that.. Most of the time I will just store them in the basement, which is a good 10 degrees cooler.
