Suppose I was to buy a rooster and keep my hens purely for breeding, could they produce the same amount of eggs that the particular breed (Australorp) I am using normally lays in infertile eggs per year - 300 eggs (no rooster).
Considering I remove the eggs after they are layed and put them in an incubator followed by hand rearing .
I know that if I was to start a business, it would be best to buy books and consult experts but I'm just asking out of curiosity (the lockdown boredom is stirring up ideas
