Kylo hen, you think it is fertile? Is it possible for a rooster to start mating with hens before he starts crowing?

My rooster was mating (and I even hatched chicks) before he started crowing. So yes, it is possible

honestly i don't know it might be that but i don't think that they can mate when their under a year but i could be wrong i will do some research for you

They can mate when they are under a year old. I know that from experience! Believe me, they can!
