What is the best way to keep the eggs untill I get an incubator? Thank you for your help!

put them in an egg carton with the big ends up. store them at room temp. and they will be good for a week

Store them in a cool place, in an egg carton. Then turn them at least once a day (just tilt the carton from one side to the other). That's about it.

Just be sure to let your bator run for at least a day before adding the eggs, to make sure the temp is stable.

to BYC, and I always tilt mine a few times a day while they are setting.

Oops someone beat me to it

My goodness- you all are fast! Alrighty they are in an egg carton! There was one that I coudn't be 100% which side was the smaller one, so I just made my best guess.

candle it... air cell on top.

I usually set mine in an egg carton on a board that is tilted and I just switch end with the carton several times a day when I walk by...

what I did with mine was put them in an egg carton and got a small cooler and stuck them in there with an ice pack...kept it moist enough and cool enough. Should be about 50 - 60 degrees stored. Basement would work good if it's cooler down there. I would then send these eggs out through mail and had a pretty darn good hatch rate too
