Hello,
I'm going to get some chickens really soon and I'm wanting to get enough to sells some eggs as I side project (so about 15 or more). I also like the idea of buying a roo when I get my girls, so that I can hatch out my own. I was wondering about fertilized eggs versus non. Can you tell a difference in taste or visually, if you collect your eggs everyday? Do some people prefer fertilized eggs? I super new to all of this, so any info will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

There is no difference in taste and most people don't even know if they're eating a fertile egg.

If you collect every day, the way to tell is the bulls eye around the white spot in the yolk.

And, of course,

Getting chickens has been the coolest experience of my adult life! I LOVE them!

Thanks so much. I looked at the pictures too, very helpful. I'm really excited about having chickens again. I can't wait!!!!
