She is alive! Just sleepy. Trying to keep her warm. Gotta clean that pasty butt. Feathered feat. Plus straight comb. Breed ideas? They said layer mix.

I agree that Cochin seems likely.Guessing the chick is a coochin chick
Yeah, It could be, But she looks very fluffy, cochin fluffy. Also, is it normal for them to sound like a toad? I got them under momma hen. But it allmost sounds like the chick is purring?I agree that Cochin seems likely.
French Marans may also be a possibility. They tend to have feathered feet, but not as heavily feathered as Cochin feet usually are.
There does not seem to be anything that the other can catch, it just looks like a mallformed + misstreated chick.I have a question, what do I do for chicks that have a swollen foot? The chick is not one of the healthiest chicks. Looks like the feed store did a poor job.. In everything. The chicks foot is kinda swollen, there also looks to be a deficiency of some kind. Making the chick pretty weak. And then the pasty butt. They did not do a very good job with the stress there. Chick is sluggish, probably due to the swollen foot bothering/hurting her. Chicks eating and drinking so thats good. I just gave them some apple cider vinegar, plus a little honey in their water. To see if that helps any.
