Fertile Eggs?

If I have a drake with a few ducks and the eggs become fertile, is there anyway to prevent them from growing. If I put them right in the refrigerator, will they just remain and look like an infertile egg and be able to be eaten?

Yeah if you put them in the refrigerator, they would not continue to be able to form. And are edible.

I just hatched some duck eggs that had been refrigerated. Man that sold them told me so

Fertile eggs WILL NOT hatch out if they haven't been incubated.
It's just not possible.
