Fertile Eggs!

I had a hen laying eggs a couple of weeks ago, I put them into the incubator and they are fertile!
Doubt if my 1 year old males did the deed.
Must have been my guy that dropped his train late spring - early summer, because it has been growing back....

This late in the year, if your 1 year old was a early hatch, yes he could be the father, he could be 16 to 17 months old. My guess would be on the yearling. If the older peacock drop his train in late sping wouldn't think he could be fertile yet.

I recall reading the train has nothing to do with fertility. Peacocks can still be fertile after loosing it. Anyone?
