fertile eggs

How long will hens be fertility after the rooster is removed from the flock......I lost my roo and was planning on incubating some eggs . Did I miss my chance? Hes been dead 1day

i think its a daily process, so if no roo no fertile eggs. Im soory you lost your roo.

I'm not really sorry he was a mean SOB was going to cull him any way after I hatched a few out.....any body else? Daily to 3 weeks is a bug sufferance.....hoping it some where in the middle

Incubate them, you will get chicks, assuming he was doing his job and he was fertile.
10 days to 3 weeks is a good estimate.

Yup, 3 weeks assuming he was servicing them. You've plenty of time to gather fertile eggs.

2-3 weeks. I wouldn't hatch any of those eggs though. My rooster was so mean he almost made me cry. He cornered me in the coop and wouldn't stop attacking lol. He was horrible. Well i hatched some of his offspring, then killed him. All of the offspring are mean, even the girls. The girls aren't mean mean but they will peck at me when giving them food and don't let me touch their eggs. The males on the other hand are horrible. They're like mini T-Rex's. Im very close to just killing them all, making a couple gallons of chicken soup and just starting over.
