Fertile eggs

Hi I am new with chickens and BYC.I want to know if my hens are not going broody and I have a Roo will I have fertile eggs for my inqubator?

you should have fertile eggs if you have a rooster in with some hens. How many hens do you have? Sometimes the hens don't like the rooster, so they wont do a fertile egg from him. Roosters can also have their "favorite" hens, and might not mess with the other hens. As a general rule 5 to 7 hens per rooster is good.

I am only 13 yrs old and my parents don't want chickens they think they stick and r stupid. So I will get some when I grow up.

welll this is a great spot to learn about chickens before you get them. So do some reading on all kinds of things here, it'll help you out when you do have them. Some breeds, like the silkies, go broody. If you have questions feel free to ask, most people here are very helpful. Good luck
