Sorry if this is in the wrong spot. I can't figure out how to post in the buy forum. Maybe someone can help.

I am almost to lockdown day on my 42 shipped eggs. It's not looking very good. I'm not sure if it was because they were shipped or I did something different. The last batch (12) I hatched 7 out of 12 my very first time hatching.

I am looking this time for a local source and eliminate the shipping element of it. I live in southwest michigan and am looking for the following breeds to start. Light and/or coronation sussex, white orphingtons, lemon cuckoo orphingtons, Cornish rock cross.

I am willing to drive to get them if there is anyone local.

Thank you & please all hope my eggs hatch but I'm not seeing positive results when I candle,

You might try finding your state thread in this forum and posting there.

You can try your county extension agent, in the phone book under county government. The agent probably won’t know a whole lot, but they should be able to put you in touch with the person that runs the poultry judging at either your county or state fair.

I’d normally suggest Craigslist or chatting with people at the feed store but with the breeds you want, well good luck!
