So, I have these Barred Rock hens in with my original Golden Comets. The Comets were young pullets when I got them, never had been with a rooster, the Barred Rocks were somewhat older and HAD been with a rooster. The Comets all squat when I get near them, which in turn makes it easy, should one of them get out of the barnyard. The Barred Rocks haven't gotten out but if they did I don't know how I would catch them. My question is, will the Barred Rocks ever stop and squat like the Comets do?
