Hi! I have been trying to trying to hatch our Polish chicken's eggs for 2 weeks now, I candled on day 4, 6, and 8 yet still no signs of development on the first batch, the second did the same? I put in 4 different eggs in total, did I just get unlucky? The incubator is totally fine, we have easter eggers and sexlinks on their 17th day doing fantastic, but our polish eggs have all flopped. We have two polish hens, one buff-laced and one white crested, they're both healthy and there looks to be a bullseye... what am I doing wrong and what can I do differently? I'll also gladly crack a couple more polish eggs open for variation if needed, thanks in advance!

The second one doesn't look fertile to me. I'm honestly not 100% sure on the first, I see the outline but I think it may just be a normal infertile egg. Do you know how old your rooster is? How many hens does he have access to?

He and the majority of his hens are 2 years old, however we got our polish hens and a few others last spring, so they're a year old. We have 12 hens all together and the other hen's (besides the polish) eggs have all been fertile
