thanks, all help appreciated. I'm not a quitter, I'll get it right sooner or later. finally get the incubator dialed in, (I hope), and my eggs aren't fertile. Luck is definitely not on my side.This poor gal have been attempting to hatch eggs for like the 10th time already, all unsuccessfully...... I feel for her, someone help her out!! Perhaps send her some fertile eggs or something.
My silkie roo has 3 hens and 3 pullets, I trimmed all of their fuzzy butts 3 days ago. and am adding a little more protein to their diet. I'm hoping that it works.You may need a new rooster if you have multiple hens, or it may be the hen if there is only one. Pluck feathers around the vents of the rooster and the hen/hens so that he has a better chance of making 'contact'.
