how long does a hen stay fertile once she has mated with the rooster or how many eggs will be fertile once she has mated?thanks in advanvce

I think that fertile eggs start at day 3 to a week (sorry just had to add it) and after that 3 or 4 weeks of fertile eggs. did that make any sense?
