Does this look like a fertile egg? I think it is.....but i am no expert on the subject. There are 3 girls with no rooster....but i have a fence jumper [IMG] So i wonder if he has been visiting [IMG]

Lurky, you can absolutely NOT tell by looking if the egg is fertile. All eggs have that little white spot. It`s called a germ spot.

Quote:Actually, you can. If the white spot is a bullseye, then its fertile, if there is no bullseye, its not fertile.

I dont think that egg is fertile. I dont really see a clear defined bullseye.

Quote:Yes, all eggs have a white spot, but you can tell by the way that little white spot looks if it is fertile or not. A fertile egg will have a white ring with a white spot in the center.

ETA: I think about 4 of us posted the same thing at the same time. Whoops! [IMG]
