Hi! I have a confusion whether one cross of rooster with hen is enough for whole bunch of eggs in hen or each egg requires a cross with rooster.

Regards.

Has the hen been with any other rooster? A rooster's sperm can stay in the hen's system from 2-4 weeks. It depends on how "potent" the roo is as to how many he will fertilize in one mating. Of course the longer the hen and roo are together, the higher the chances of fertile and number of fertile eggs are going to rise.

Both touch on the topic of breeding.
