Hi! So I want to hatch my silkie's egg out this coming spring and I have another boy silkie I want to be the father. But I noticed one of my other roosters mating her and I don't want him to be the dad. If I seperate my silkies how long will it take for them to mate with the eggs of hers to be his? I hate to serperate them though because I don't want the coop to get messed up since the pecking order with the boys is working right now so I would like to seperate them for the shortest amount of time possible.
