My Muscovy duck is setting a clutch of 14 eggs. I looked at them today and a few had some discoloration. They eegs are supposed to hatch around july 4. Why would some be discolored???

My Ladies' eggs are all very different. The eggs in the best that I've seen go bad are obviously dark & splotchy inside, and I wouldn't dare crack one!!!

Is she safe?

yes she is safe. She was stubborn and layed in a hay pile When I moved her nest to her house she abandoned it and layed a new one. This clutch is the new one. The babies are due to hatch on the 4th of july
