Meyer hatchery sells hatching eggs. But if it is your first time getting chickens, I would recommend starting with chicks or pullets. Most larger batteries also sell them.

I have adult hens but i have a broody hen so i wanted to try and have her sit on some eggs

If you can not find fertile eggs, you can allow her to set on non fertile eggs for at least two weeks and then buy some chicks to foster under her.

That's awesome! Maybe a local farm would offer some eggs?

Possible. Here in NJ there are many farm stands selling eggs. Many of these small suppliers have roosters in their flocks.
