Fertilized eggs

I have 4 hens and a jake(Rios). They have just started lo lay. How long until the eggs are fertile. He has been strutting and breeding about 10 days

Should be fertile by now. Crack open an egg and see if you find a bullseye

your eggs are good to go the day you see them breed, and for 15 days after you pull the tom!! tom!!!! good luck! ( eggs are still fertile for 15 day s after tom has be removed)

I thought after 7 days hatchability drops to 0.

after 7 days my eggs start to drop by 5% a day after 14 days they are 35% less chance of hatching! depening on how the egg is cared for prior to hatch! but hey thats just here on my farm tom ps when I collect the eggs I carry a clip board to chart everything just like a DR.
